Peter Read

 

Peter Read is a former chairman of Grey Australia, one of this country's major mainstream advertising agencies. He is also a former managing director and majority shareholder in Murray Evans Advertising, one of the famous names in the growth of the advertising industry in this country.

Peter gained background experience in manufacturing accounting with Simpson Appliances and factory management with Philips, before beginning his career in marketing and advertising.
As a management trainee with The Nestle Company he worked in sales, market research and advertising, before becoming Product Manager for Chocolate.
Today Peter Read is an independent consultant of 16 years standing, specialising in working with owner run businesses. He says:
